Accounting Consultant – Focus on General Ledger Accounting (m/f/d)

The position combines the independent supervision of corporate companies in the main accounting with the acquisition of technical topics relating to accounting, accounting and process optimization. Technical contact for accounting and accounting issues within the group of companies. You analyze and evaluate complex accounting and valuation attitudes according to HGB, prepare new accounting principles and actively contribute to the further development of accounting policies and final processes. Own-sponsored management of the main books of several companies from different business areas. Monthly determination and booking of delimitations for the supervised companies and compilation of the associated reporting. Participation in the production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB. Analysis and clarification of complex intercompany relations. Close cooperation with adjacent areas such as controlling, taxes and personnel. Ensuring high data quality and continuous further development and optimization of existing accounting and final processes. Cooperation in projects, system adjustments and digitalisation initiatives in the financial sector.

Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting, finance or accounting, or a completed commercial training with a corresponding additional qualification, for example the account holder. Multiannual professional experience in main accounting, accounting or auditing as well as very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB. High self-motivation as well as a structured, analytical and solution-oriented manner. Joy of responsibility and the combination of operational accounting and analytical conceptual work. Secure handling of SAP R3/4HANA; multi-year practical experience in daily use is advantageous. Good knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel.
