In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a*n music school teacher for trombone (m/w/d) at the next time Part-time, unlimited The job is about 50%. Teaching takes place on two to three days a week, including Mondays and Wednesdays in the morning during school cooperation. At the music school of the city of Ulm are currently approx. 2.700 pupils of about 100 teachers in total about 1,500 hours a year. Teaching takes place at two large school sites, as well as at numerous general schools and daycare centres throughout the city. With outstanding ensemble projects and an extensive event, the music school enjoys high public attention and offers a motivating working environment with a high level of music education. Payment is made by 9b TVöD.

Your tasks: Group and individual lessons in the trombone department – from beginners to pre-graduate training Preparing students for preludes, concerts, ensembles and competitions Designing concerts, events and projects of the Music School active cooperation in the conceptual development of the department Participation in conferences and bodies of the Music School

Your profile: completed music education or artistic higher education with main subject trombone own artistic profile Teaching experience in trombone and a wide range of methods for working with children, young people and adults in individual and group classes Willingness and ability to prepare students for participation in ensembles and orchestras with high performance standards and competitions Joy in dedicated cooperation in the College as well as in the further development of the department and in school cooperation Willingness to teach at different classes in the city area Organisational skills, team skills and a safe and friendly appearance very good German knowledge (at least level C1)
