As Team Lead Accounting & Closing (m/w/d), you are the backbone of our financial organization. Not only do you manage numbers, you guide a strong team and ensure that our balance sheet quality meets the highest international standards. Team leadership: You take the professional and disciplinary leadership of your team (main accounting & creditors). You are mentor, motivator and actively promote the further development of the department.

Final security & reporting: You are responsible for creating monthly and annual accounts according to IFRS and HGB. You are taxing the group reporting to our parent company and guaranteeing schedule and highest data quality.

Process architecture: You are not satisfied with the status quo. You continuously optimize our accounting processes and tools and accompany the further development of our ERP system (ideally JD Edwards).

Technical authority: You are in demand for complex accounting or tax issues. You create guidelines, perform desired/actual analyses and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

Interface management: You are the sovereign contact for auditors, tax advisors and auditors. Internally, you act as a savings partner for cross-departmental finance projects.

Governance: The audit and release of payment runs and the implementation of new accounting issues are in your hands.

Mindset: You are a communicative team player with a sure appearance. You combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic hands-on mentality and possess the necessary leadership and enforcement capability.

Qualification: A completed economic studies and a well-founded training in accounting.

Experience: Multiannual professional practice in a comparable leadership position.

Expertise: You are financially secure in IFRS and HGB and contributes knowledge in German tax law.

Systems & languages: Secure handling of ERP systems and MS Office. You can communicate in English and German.

Extra: Knowledge in JD Edwards or French knowledge are a welcome plus, but no exclusion criterion.
