Senior Category Manager - IT / Technology (m/f/d)

For our Corporate Procurement area we are looking for a Category Manager at the next time. Corporate Procurement is responsible for the procurement of all indirect goods and services in a variety of categories. We are looking for reinforcement for the main topics Technical Infrastructure, IT & Payment. In this role you live our hybrid model ''Flexibel'''. You will work one or two fixed or flexible days on site, and on the other days you can work remotely. This is what awaits you You plan, guide and conduct group-wide procurement projects from the demand definition to the assignment in close cooperation with the departments through Sourcing strategies for individual projects and within the responsible categories are developed and implemented by you Continuous monitoring and analysis of relevant procurement markets, technologies and calculation models is one of your tasks In addition, you perform internal and external benchmarks within the assigned categories You are also responsible for networking within the ProSiebenSat.1 Group to identify group-wide cost reduction, optimization and synergy potentials Last but not least, you’re consulting existing supplier relationships, opening up new/alternative suppliers and are generally responsible for supplier management

You have a successfully completed study preferably in business management, business informatics or supply chain management or specialist training and have already gained relevant professional experience in the area of purchasing You have a deep understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and market dynamics Your interest in the fields of technology, infrastructure & services is yours You communicate clearly and convincingly, keep an overview of various projects at the same time and bring the necessary negotiation skills together In addition, you work as structured as yourself and enrich our team with your analytical ability and a proper portion of your own initiative.
