IT System Engineer – Scheduling (m/w/d)
You are responsible for the design and development of the central scheduling infrastructure on Linux and Windows systems. Together with the infrastructure team, you develop technical targets, standards and sustainable operating models. You control complex technical projects around the central scheduling and coordinate their implementation across participating IT units and interfaces. The integration of cloud services into the scheduling platform is your responsibility. Complex disorders are systematically analysing and leading sustainable improvement measures. In critical events, you coordinate the internal and external bodies involved and contribute to a fast recovery of the systems. The optimization of automated job processes as well as the creation of technical decision bases complete your task area.
You have completed a study of computer science or a comparable qualification. Alternatively, you have an IT training and several years of relevant professional experience. Finding knowledge of the system administration on Linux and Windows will help you and use it safely in practice. An independent way of working, a high self-motivation and a pronounced problem-solving capability distinguish you. Also in challenging situations you keep an overview. A strong service and customer orientation is one of your strengths as well as team skills as well as a clear and value-adding communication. The willingness to work in shift operation as well as to participate in the call readiness service will help you.
Salary: You receive a collectively regulated remuneration (compulsory contract for private insurance). In addition, you receive holiday and Christmas money as well as extensive social benefits - including an occupational pension scheme. In addition, a future-proof workplace awaits you.
Homeoffice: Depending on the location and arrangement with your leadership, you can choose between different home office models. At least two days are provided at the LVM campus. In addition to a fully-fledged technical equipment, you will receive a unique home office tray of 800 € gross.
Work-Life-Balance: Our flexible working time regulation with a 38-hour week and 30 holiday days allows you to adjust your working hours in consultation between 7 am and 8 pm. In this case, any overtime that has been completed is of course paid out or can alternatively be compensated for by leisure.
Flexibility: In addition to our home office, you can work up to ten more days on the mobile side within Germany or in the EU. We thus promote the compatibility of your professional and private goals.
Continuing training: Your personal and professional development is especially important to us. This is why we offer you tailor-made internal and external training opportunities.
Health: Your well-being is important to us. We support you with social consulting and diverse health services – including business sports and a subsidized EGYM Wellpass membership – so that you remain physically and mentally fit.
Onboarding: A structured onboarding and cross-departmental networking make sure you feel good from the start.
Events: We place great emphasis on a good operating climate. For this reason, corporate events are firmly planned with us, such as the annual cross-departmental carnival festival at the Münster site.
Insurance: As an employee, you benefit from special rates and conditions for employees in the insurance industry.
Sabbatical: Use the possibility of a Sabbatical to allow you to spend time on personal projects or travels and to recharge your energy.
Operating restaurant: Our excellent operating restaurant with highly subsidized prices provides for your strengthening.
Mobility: We support your mobility with a grant to the job or Germany ticket and also offer a bike leasing.
