All this is essential to achieve our goal – for all those who move the world In the product development department for Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGV), we are currently building a new field of competence for autonomous and remote-controlled systems in the field of our commercial vehicle series. A strategic growth field that will significantly shape our commercial vehicle series and future customer solutions. Our goal is to develop innovative solutions for unmanned ground vehicles and integrate them safely into existing platforms. We look at the entire system – from sensor technology to environment detection, data processing and control to integration into vehicle architecture and, in addition, integration and further development into existing business solutions of our customers. A special focus is on securing automated functions in cooperation with technology partners:inside, developing robust safety concepts and technological cooperation at eye level. You accompany the development process from the concept phase to series maturity and work closely with internal specialist areas as well as external partners. The ability to evaluate complex systems and make technical decisions based is a key success factor in your role.
