Purchasing Manager - Co-Manufacturing (m/w/d)

Our purchasing department is far more than just procurement. It drives innovation, supports product development and makes a real contribution to the growth of our customers. In this role, you report to the managing director and design the purchase strategically and operatively in the area of co-manufacturing – focusing on project management, partnership building and supplier management. Sourcing & Market Analysis You develop sourcing strategies based on market analysis You are testing the market, analysing costs and finding matching new suppliers You recognize opportunities and risks – and actively help business growth You work closely with teams from marketing, sales, product development, quality, supply chain and controlling Suppliers & contracts You select suppliers, execute tenders (RFQs/RFPs) and negotiate contracts You take care of quality, price, performance and all important conditions You build long-term partnerships and encourage strong cooperation Project management You accompany new products and production solutions from idea to implementation You keep budgets and schedules in mind and inform about project status You are looking forward to problems with suppliers and find solutions Supplier rating You evaluate suppliers objectively with KPIs If necessary, you will implement clear measures to improve Cost & Budget You monitor all issues in the area of Co-Manufacturing You’ll start budgets and find savings potential – in cooperation with Finance Operational order processing: You ensure that everything is running around – from order collection to delivery: collection of orders, production of order confirmations, organisation of transport, processing and monitoring of delivery dates, inventory management, invoice and audit You take responsibility for the installation and maintenance of product and supplier master data in the ERP system

Complete studies in business, supply chain or food technology At least 2 years of professional experience in purchasing and/or project management, ideally in the FMCG industry Communication strength: You not only express yourself clearly, friendly and professionally, but also have persuasion and negotiation skills Own initiative: You don't wait, you trade proactively and bring ideas into the team High numerical affinity, strong analytical ability and entrepreneurial thinking Structured, independent working with a sense of cooperation Interest in innovation, markets and sustainable partnerships German and English language skills in word and writing Very good MS Office knowledge and SAP knowledge of advantage
