Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Do you have a well-founded experience in financial and accounting and would like to introduce your know-how in an internationally operating industrial company? Then a responsible position awaits you in which you significantly accompany the completion, process accounting questions independently and actively shape the further development of processes.

Your duties include: Own-responsible production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB Responsibility for the current main accounting including accounts and the execution of accounts Accounting and evaluation of complex business incidents according to HGB and ensuring proper accounting Formation and examination of provisions, accounting definitions and other accounting matters Creation of reports, analyses and business evaluations as a basis for decision-making for management Support for tax issues and participation in the creation of tax returns and legal reports Contact person for auditors, tax advisors and authorities in the context of annual audits and tax topics Analysis of existing accounting processes and identification and implementation of optimization potentials Participation in cross-departmental projects, in particular in the context of digitalisation and further development of the financial sector

What makes you successful in this role: Successfully completed business studies with a focus on accounting, finance or taxes, or a comparable commercial qualification, ideally with further training to the account holder (IHK) Multiannual professional experience in the financial and accounting of a manufacturing or international company Experience gained in the independent production of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and a safe handling of balance sheet issues Very good knowledge of trade and balance sheet law and a strong understanding of accounting and tax relations Experience in cooperation with auditors, tax advisors and internal departments Safe handling of an ERP system as well as very good knowledge in MS Excel Good English knowledge of word and writing Structured, analytical and self-responsible operation combined with high quality standards Communication strength, team spirit and motivation to develop processes actively
