Summary As Global Solution Architect Network Security (m/w/d), you take over the professional leadership in the field of network security within a specialized team of architects and engineers. You actively shape the technical orientation and implementation of global transformation projects and work together with international experts from different regions at the virtual Competence Center “Network Security”. Your challenge Professional Leadership in Network Security within the Global Network Team Participation in the Competence Center “Network” with resources from India, the Czech Republic and other regions Design and development of global network security standards and architectures Strategic cooperation and technical implementation of the following key initiatives: introduction and operation of SD-WAN/SASE Global rollout of Security Zone Architecture (SZA) incl. Application Centric Firewalling Support for Hybrid Multicloud Transformation (Azure, AWS)

Development of high- and low-level designs for production sites, office allocations, data center and remote access Selection, testing and approval of Network Security products and software versions Technical responsibility for the Network Security Service and contact for manufacturers such as Palo Alto and Checkpoint Assessment of requirements from the fields and derivation of secure network architectures Control of external consultants and support in the selection of technology partners Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies

Education: Successfully completed studies in computer science, IT security or a comparable qualification Professional experience: Multiannual network security architecture experience in complex, international environments Expertise: Knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g. Palo Alto, Checkpoint), VPN/Remote Access solutions and Zero-Trust architectures Experience with Microsegmentation, NAC and Cloud Security (Azure, AWS or GCP) Knowledge in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) for automating security configurations Certifications such as CCNP Security, PCNSE, CISSP or comparable

Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Personality: Representative team skills and high intercultural competence Structured and solution-oriented thinking and working methods talent for innovative solutions including complex problems Joy in working on projects in the international environment
