Your duties • They actively shape the construction of a new IT infrastructure and implement the necessary measures in cooperation with external service providers. • You operate storage systems, develop them, optimize operation and manage storage resources. • You administrate the ressort-specific IT infrastructure (server, cluster, network), monitor the operation (system, security incidents) and work to deploy new operating system versions and automation. • You design and implement backup strategies, secure system operation and perform restore tests. At the same time, maintain and monitor user accounts and group policy objects (Active Directory). • They provide services in IT-Helpdesk (first and second level support) for technical advice and support for employees in hardware and software matters. • You are a liaison with the centrally provided services and applications, such as the central operator platform, Hessen Corporate Network (HCN), PKI, Hessen-AD and work in cross-resort working groups at national level. • IT security and data protection are not foreign words for you, but a matter of course. Changes to the subject are reserved. Note: For this position an extended safety review (SÜ2) is provided under the Hessian Security Audit Act (§ 8 para. 1 HS RIP) required. An adjustment is made subject to a positive safety check.

Our requirements • You have a university education (Bachelor, Diplom-FH) successfully in IT completed or completed vocational training as a specialist informant (m/w/d), specialist system integration or you have the career skills for the advanced service and have acquired knowledge comparable to that of a specialist (m/w/d) • Ideally, you have solid knowledge and practical experience in server and network administration • Experiences in the above-mentioned tasks are desirable, especially in the Microsoft system administration, and pleasure in implementing infrastructure projects • They are characterized by a structured, solution-oriented way of working, pronounced team spirit and a pragmatic hands-on mentality • Experiences in the public service are beneficial, but no need • They are open, communicative and have a pronounced team orientation and a convincing appearance. We expect diversity competence from all applicants. • They are characterized by above-average performance, durability and flexibility. • They have organizational skills and keep an overview in challenging situations and under time pressure. • Your very good opinion will help you quickly get involved in complex issues and new topics. • You have a very good written and oral expressiveness and negotiation skills.
