A successful university degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or similar. A PhD would be a plus
Expert knowledge in optimization, computational imaging, inverse problems and/or co-designing algorithms and optical setups
Proven experience in algorithm development for imaging problems with latest state-of-the-art approaches
A passion for programming with a solid background in Python. Experience with Matlab and C#/C++ is a plus
A strong dedication for mathematical modelling, in conjunction with physics and machine learning
The vision and hands-on mindset to make your ideas come to life in ZEISS products
Competent in spoken and written English
