You take over the professional leadership of the platform management team and develop employees in a targeted manner Responsibility for the stable, secure and economical operation of our server- and operating-system IT environments – On-Premise such as Cloud (Windows, Linux, VMware, AWS, Azure, GCS) Operation and further development of operating system and server landscapes are the focus of your activity You control patch, update and maintenance processes for operating systems as well as connected applications and ensure availability and security A professional incident, problem and change management is in your hands Working closely with specialist departments, IT architecture, information security and external service providers You actively promote the further development of the system and server landscapes through standardization, automation and targeted use of cloud technologies Budget and capacity planning as well as a comprehensible documentation of systems, operating processes and responsibilities complete your task

Complete studies or training with computer science (e.g. computer science, business informatics, system integration) or comparable knowledge acquired by professional practice Multiannual, well-founded experience in operating Windows or Linux operating systems as well as in virtualized server environments and storage systems Practical experience with VMware-based environments, backup and operating concepts Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid operating models are beneficial First or already grown experience in leadership or control responsibility, e.g. as team lead or in project management Very good German knowledge (at least B2 level) and a structured, decision-making working style also in critical operating situations Communication strength, team orientation and a pronounced service awareness complete your profile
