You build information security management (ISMS) and manage and develop it in close cooperation with IT operations, data protection and revision. analyse legal and regulatory requirements, advise the university management and report transparently on the security situation. coordinate security measures and audits, support teams in practical implementation and share knowledge of overriding procedures. develop and maintain emergency and crisis management processes, accompany security incidents of value and solution-oriented. promote sustainable security culture through training, awareness campaigns and collegial advice, strengthen belonging and participation throughout the university.

You have completed university studies (Master/Diplom) in natural, spiritual, economic or comparable disciplines and bring a very good understanding of information technology (IT). bring well-founded knowledge in information security management according to BSI IT-Grundschutz and ISO/IEC 27001 and apply it in practice. can provide several years of professional experience in IT security, ideally in universities, administration or research institutions.
