The SOS Children's Village Sachsen is an aid association with differentiated offers in the stationary, outpatient and open area at various locations in Zwickau and Leipzig. At our site in Zwickau, children and young people currently live in 2 children's village families and 7 housing groups in a family-like framework. In addition, there is a kita and the open area with our multi-generation house and our children's and youth center spinning weaving.

At the SOS Children's Village of Saxony, we are looking for a new location at Zwickau Senior Consultant (m/w/d) mit HPZ / Heilpädagogin (m/w/d) in full time (38,5 hours/Where.)

In our stationary group in Zwickau we offer eight children and young people aged 4 to 17 years a safe home on time. In a dedicated team of five employees you create a reliable everyday life, give orientation and create relationship. Your tasks include: You support and accompany young people in the everyday life of the housing group and create a secure, structured and value-adding environment that promotes emotional stability and personal development You actively participate in education and assistance planning and document these carefully in our electronic case files A valuable cooperation with the system of origin of children and adolescents – according to the guidelines of the SOS Children's Village e.V. – is of course for you In close coordination with the relevant departmental management, you cooperate with schools, doctors, therapists and other departments to develop and implement individual funding targets You place great emphasis on a transparent, cooperative teamwork, actively participate in team consulting as well as in team-wide consultations and commissions In conflict and crisis situations, you support children and young people professionally and help them develop appropriate and constructive behaviour strategies You promote children and young people in school challenges, support learning processes and strengthen personal development You create varied leisure and group offers that promote community sense, self-reality and individual skills The targeted promotion of emotional development and social skills is a key part of your work You implement the standards of child and care protection in a conscientious and responsible manner

You have a degree as a health education teacherin or educatorin with additional qualification HPZ or willingness to follow up You bring team skills, communication strength and empathy Commitment, sense of responsibility and readiness to learn shape your work You will encounter shift and weekend work with the necessary flexibility and professionalism Safe handling of digital tools is part of everyday work for you. Your approach to closeness and distance to the supervised children and adolescents is reflected, professional and valuable You have a class B driving licence
