Your post in our crew As part of the project team, you will be responsible for the manufacturing process from the first step to the successful delivery of a large marine new construction project in the deadline, cost and qualification framework. To do this, you will guide the teams on the shipyards, coordinate the cooperation with the participating construction projects and ensure the interfaces to the other subprojects.

The manufacturing process of a large marine project at several locations in northern Germany is your responsibility. Technically, you will be responsible for the production coordinator:inside and building supervision at the respective locations and ensure the timely completion of the ships in the budget as well as the required quality at all locations. As an interface between the shipyards, you are responsible for the smooth cooperation of the different locations from the start of the fire, installation and commissioning to the acceptance of the ships. Our contractual interests are represented by you with respect to the client, all subcontractors and the relevant classification society in close coordination with the project manager. You cooperate with the other subproject managements in the overall project and actively support colleagues in claim and change management and risk management. In addition, close coordination with the line areas ensures that your subproject receives the necessary resources. Compliance with company-internal processes is ensured by you and adapted to the project requirements. Actively contribute to reporting, prepare decisions and manage your subproject in the context of the overall project and the business area. Important meetings in your manufacturing subproject are subject to your organization and management - in German and English. These include e.g. the production meetings with the shipyard or the construction supervision of the customer representative. You represent the project on the sites and outside external stakeholders within the meaning of the company.

Complete studies in the field of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or marine engineering or comparable training Multiannual professional experience ideally in shipbuilding, maritime industry and/or with contracting authorities Representative competence in stakeholder management, problem solving and negotiation Comprehensive know-how in project management (at best IPMA certification level B) Commercial understanding and experience in the interpretation of contracts Technical understanding of the ship/boat system as well as for the overall manufacturing process, including testing and commissioning Experience in leadership or Coordination of teams (even without disciplinary authority) Independent, analytical and structured working methods, in particular with regard to project data and reporting Very good communication properties in German and English as well as enforcement ability Trusts in handling MS Office programs (Word, Excel and Outlook)
