Working to develop a data-driven analysis and simulation tool for the transformation of the energy infrastructure Analysis and evaluation of transformation scenarios for gas, heat and hydrogen networks in the context of climate neutrality Processing, linking and evaluation of complex infrastructure and energy data Designing a holistic energy system by integrating electricity, heat, gas and hydrogen data Application of modern methods of software development, data analysis and quality assurance Own-responsible handling of topics with direct influence on a productive application Close cooperation with experienced engineers, developers and experts (m/w/d) Insights into current issues of the energy industry and the transformation towards climate-neutral energy supply actively shape your internship and set individual focuses on the topics you are interested in

Your conditions: The practical semester / compulsory internship takes place in full time from 01.03.2027 to 31.07.2027. Studies in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Business Informatics, Supply and Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable course of studies Good knowledge of Python and interest in data analysis and software development Ideally first experiences with geodata, simulations, front-end development or software testing Interest in complex software applications and technical issues Motivation to solve new challenges independently and in the team Structured and independent operation and a pronounced hands-on mentality Joy in introducing your own ideas and taking responsibility Communication strength and team capacity Good knowledge of German at least B2 level
