Senior Designer Terminals (m/f/d)

In this central role you are responsible for the design of individual parts and complex assemblies based on customer requirements. You lead the technical product support up to series maturity. The processing of design changes including the creation of internal and customer drawings and the data transfer to the customer are in your hand. You define technical requirements and control their coordination internally, with suppliers and customers. You develop concept solutions for components and component groups. You take into account functional, manufacturing and economic aspects and coordinate the coordination with the departments. You present technical alternatives and guide the detailing up to series maturity. You evaluate existing and new design solutions, conduct analyses (DFMEA, feasibility, tolerances) and initiate necessary tests. You coordinate measurements, tests and functional tests and evaluate components according to relevant test regulations. You ensure the complete documentation accompanying the construction and maintain technical data in the corresponding systems. You support less experienced designers professionally and control specialist topics in development and manufacturing projects.
