What would be a lithography optics without the electronics and software controlling them? There would be no chance to achieve the necessary imaging precision. Only the control electronics of a lithography optics combined with the associated sensors and actuators ensure that the optics elements are aligned with the utmost accuracy up to several tens of thousands of times per second in the closed control loop, thereby enabling the necessary precision in the exposure process. Our work in the product electronics and product software departments focuses on all areas of electronics development: analog and digital hardware development, real time and non-realtime software development, FPGA design and verification as well as electrical design. We cover all steps from requirements management, design, prototype construction, testing and industrialization. Acquisition of development tasks for FPGAs including specification, implementation in VHDL and design verification with OSVM, as well as creation of corresponding documentation

Supporting the organisational and technical interface to embedded software

technical control of external development partners

Working with the implementation of an FPGA platform

a master study of electrical engineering, automation technology, technical computer science or art related

first relevant professional experience in developing FPGA designs, preferably with Intel/Altera FPGAs

well-founded knowledge of static runtime analysis (STA) and defining Design Constraints

safe handling of script-based interfaces for controlling EDA tools in TCL or Python

Experiences in verification with OSVVM and Functional Coverage as well as using high speed transceivers for protocols such as Ethernet or PCIe are desirable

the ability to interdisciplinary thinking

strong team skills with high social competence

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
