Tech Lead IT Services (m/f/d)

As Tech Lead for IT Services, you are responsible for the operation and further development of the central IT services from support, system administration, network and infrastructure as well as IT security. In doing so, you ask for a clear professional orientation, prioritization and coordination of the topics between the teams. You are responsible for the professional management and coordination of employees along our IT services, in close cooperation with the People Lead, you are promoting further development and ensuring efficient cooperation. Ensure the secure, stable and sustainable operation of the IT infrastructure, develop standards, processes and best practices and build service-oriented provision of IT services with your team. You also provide efficient support processes in 1st and 2nd levels while maintaining service-level commitments and compliance and quality standards. If necessary, you will accompany larger projects as a (sub-)project manager. You are responsible for monitoring technical debt, launching refactorings and modernizations of central IT services and ensuring that You are technologically sustainable and are developed and operated according to uniform standards. You support the solution of complex topics and promote the exchange of knowledge between the teams. You also evaluiate new technologies and tools for continuous improvement. In addition, you support IT management in strategic and technical decisions and coordinate external partners and service providers.

Successfully completed studies in the field of (economic) informatics, business management or a comparable qualification with IT background and extensive expertise in the fields of IT architecture, support, administration, cross-site network, client and server infrastructure, operation and IT security. At least five years of leadership experience with strong leadership qualities as well as experience in team development and the ability to guide in change processes. Knowledge in change management is desirable. Wide technical understanding across various IT disciplines, as well as profound technical knowledge in at least two of the following areas: support, system administration, network and infrastructure, and IT security. Practical experience in dealing with Modern Workplace (M365) and ITSM structures, for example with Atlassian (Jira & ServiceDesk), is desirable. Strategic and analytical thinking and working methods as well as pronounced communicative skills and moderation competency, high level of initiative, hand-on mentality and sense of responsibility.
