Our department VAN/EKI is responsible for the development of all interiors such as cockpit, seats, interior trims, as well as CAE simulation and passive safety. We support all current and future MB Vans series. The team Interior Development is responsible for development activities across all VAN series in the interior. These include the existing products Sprinter, V-Class, Vito, Marco Polo and Citan as well as the new product project VAN.EA. As part of our continuous innovation, we are looking for a dedicated*n intern who supports our team in the field of development interiors and contributes to the design of our future vehicle generations. You can expect: Exciting insights into vehicle development in the VAN.EA project A dynamic team that lives innovation and creativity insights into the latest technologies and materials in the automotive industry A culture that focuses on personal development and continuous learning Possibility to introduce your own ideas and edit projects independently These challenges include: Operational support of the team in daily tasks and projects Active support in the project management of the module groups, including the planning and monitoring of project milestones Participation in the control, coordination and feedback on ongoing work orders in the project, the module group and in the team Creation of reporting and decision templates for management Pre- and post-processing of bodies and workshops as well as the organisation and coordination of appointments Support in the coordination and control of prototype structures You support colleagues in the development of interior concepts The activity can begin from May 2026.

Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree programme Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Interest in project management and vehicle development with focus Interior as part of a new product project High operational readiness, reliability and independence in the work design Knowledge of Siemens NX of advantage Structured mode of operation and rapid understanding with a view to complex tasks Team skills, communication skills and social competence Strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking Duration: 6 months Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
