Your role: As a development engineer Membrane Solutions, you take over the organization and management of innovation projects for new filtration and separation products and processes for the Life Science & Environment and Transportation business units. Your challenge Responsibility for product development from idea finding to the start of series production incl. Development of quality assurance measures, definition of product testing and testing plans Product development focuses on membrane technology, especially membranes for electrochemical processes Development, planning, implementation and evaluation of laboratory and technical experiments in material and process development Transfer of development results to series production Technical instructions for laboratory staff and the preparation of work instructions and risk assessments Initiation of customer contacts (internal and external) and their regular care to ensure the matching of innovation projects as well as the commercial and technical project objectives Assessment of innovation projects from a commercial perspective and the initiation of market entry of new products in cooperation with the relevant specialist departments Cooperation with worldwide departments of the MANN+HUMMEL Group and with external development partners

Your profile Education: Successfully completed scientific or technical studies with master or master Diploma or PhD in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Environmental Technology or Mechanical Engineering Professional experience: Multiannual relevant professional experience in the development of memran solutions Expertise: Experience in the organisation and implementation of innovation projects in the field of membrane development/membrane technology Experience in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of laboratory and technical experiments
