Project engineer for pipeline construction (m/f/d)

You assume the technical responsibility for the production and installation of complex pipeline systems – both nationally and internationally. You develop and evaluate production concepts in pipeline construction, coordinate implementation and accompany all steps until acceptance. You control external partners and ensure compliance with technical and classification requirements (e.g. DIN, ISO, DNV, ABS, BV, IMO). You are responsible for quality assurance in pipe construction, including spool production, isometry testing, fittings, pipe mounting systems and flange connections according to DIN/ASME. You take care of audits, vessel appointments and communication with customers, authorities and classification societies. You work closely with interdisciplinary teams and ensure a smooth run on the construction site and in the shopfloor.

You have completed training as a master or technician with relevant professional experience in piping, ideally in the maritime environment (e.g. shipbuilding, offshore or plant construction). You know the entire EPC value chain in shipbuilding and provide sound knowledge of standards and regulations (e.g. DNV, ISO, MARPOL, ASME). You work structured, analytically and take responsibility, even in cross-functional teams. You are safe in handling engineering software and familiar with technical drawings, isometries and pipe systems. You communicate confidently in German and English in exchange with international customers and authorities. Your readiness to travel (e.g. for shipwrecks) and your flexibility complete your profile.
