The Chair of Construction is one of the core professorships of the Faculty of Architecture and represents the subject in the Bachelor's and Master's degree program Architecture. The aim of the construction and design teaching in the Bachelor and Master's degree program is to understand the interplay between design and design, i.e. the development of integrated solutions as the actual creative process and to convey the understanding of the immanent relationship between design and construction. The succession, clarity and logic of the construction of a building are considered decisive for the assessment of its quality. Research topics are sustainable building structures, changed construction methods, new semi-finished products and materials and their influence on the use, construction and design of architecture. The research projects of the chair will be integrated into teaching within the framework of workshops, seminars and designs on the development and implementation processes of the projects. Supplier: Chair of Construction The employment is in the employment relationship. The place is to be occupied at 01.09.2026 and is limited to one year. The deadline is for scientific further education without the aim of the doctorate. The temporary employment is carried out within the framework of the time-limits of the science-time contract law.
