Responsible control and organisation of international import processes with a focus on maritime freight Planning, coordination and monitoring of national and international transport operations settlement of all customs and import formalities taking into account current legal regulations Creation, testing and administration of import-relevant documents and customs documents Communication and coordination with international suppliers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, customs authorities and internal departments Control of external logistics and transport service providers Control and verification of freight, transport and customs costs and invoices Working with digitalization and automation projects in the field of supply chain and logistics

Successfully completed training as a merchant for forwarding and logistics services (m/w/d), forwarding merchant (m/w/d) or a comparable commercial qualification Multiannual professional experience in the field of import, customs processing, international logistics or sea freight Good knowledge of customs law and import processing (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification is of advantage Experience in handling international freight carriers, shipping companies and logistics service providers Good knowledge of English in word and writing for communication with international business partners Safe handling of ERP systems as well as common MS Office applications Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation
