Head of the team Special Tasks, Foot Traffic, Security (m/w/d) We are looking for the Office for Public Order of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The body shall be filled in full time and indefinitely. The Transport Regulation and Management Department regulates the flowing and resting traffic within the framework of the legal requirements as a road traffic authority. Due to a change in organi­cation, a number of management positions are to be replaced. The Special Tasks, Foot Traffic and Safety team addresses a wide range of cross-sectional tasks in the field of road safety and school safety. The focus is on the promotion of foot traffic and the safety of weaker traffic participants, for example walking and especially children.

You are responsible for the organisation, management and further development of the 'special tasks, foot traffic and transport' team with currently seven employees. You coordinate the creation of innovative concepts for increasing road safety and promoting foot traffic You are responsible for coordinating the further development of school route planning and school roads and for special projects, e.g. Superblocks You process and decide fundamental, important or quite difficult individual or special cases You represent the Road Transport Authority at local meetings, meetings, municipal bodies and specialist associations and associations, partly also outside the usual working hours and weekends. You work closely and solution-oriented with internal and external departments and authorities

A completed study (Bachelor) in the field of Public Management or a degree as an FH Diploma Administration or a Bachelor's degree in a comparable field or a degree as an Administration (formerly Employee Course II) or Administration with already successful ascent into the advanced non-technical administration service Multiannual professional experience in the administration of the order, preferably in a road traffic authority with sparked characteristics of road traffic law, all-mean administrative and road law You are a targeted, decision-making person who motivates employees and convinces with creativity, innovativeness and willingness to innovate Communication and negotiation skills, enforcement skills and a safe occurrence
