Data Hero for our Lakehouse - Business/Data Analyst (m/f/d)

You penetrate the complex data in Adam Riese's insurance world and make a valuable contribution on our common path to data-driven compliance. Your focus is on the further development of our Lakehouse (Microsoft Azure, Databricks, dbt, airbyte, airflow); You bind new data sources, model data from the silver to the gold layer and ensure the highest data quality. You will participate in the further development of our data pool (SQL Oracle) and our company-wide reporting world (in particular in Power BI). You are the first respondent (m/w/d) for the specialist areas regarding the creation of descriptive data analyses and also perform ad hoc analyses; You will prepare your results in a target group-oriented manner. You support the coordination of our entire data management topics (Lakehouse, Data Pool, Power BI and descriptive evaluations); Your tasks include, among others, the requirement management, the control of the implementation and the test and release management. You act as a competent contact person (m/w/d) for management, departments and group interfaces.

You are passionate about analytical questions and have a relevant professional experience for at least 3-5 years. You have the ability and endurance to cope with complex tasks and can deliver both efficient and effective quality results. You work independently, structured and targeted. Analytical and conceptual thinking is your strengths. You have well-founded experience in building and developing a Lakehouse/Data Engineering. You have very good knowledge of SQL and Python. Good to very good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI/DAX are of advantage. Project competence and experience are of advantage. Teamwork is self-evident, also across department boundaries – cross-disciplinary cooperation is fun for you. You reflect on yourself and your work, are always ready to learn and develop and appreciate the open, value-adding exchange in the team.
