As IT department manager, you are responsible for the stable, secure and efficient operation of the entire IT landscape of the Gewobag as well as its technological development – from the cloud platform to SAP S/4HANA to the data platform. You will actively support the infrastructure & services, data management and SAP consulting and development teams and actively shape the IT, SAP and technology strategy in the field's management circle. You report directly to the management of digitalization and organization. The role combines the control of an established, technically deep organization with a clear change task: the further development of methods and structures of IT – from the SAPmodernization via the cloud platform to the responsible use of artificial intelligence. Your tasks Leadership and Development: You run and develop the Infrastructure & Services, Data Management and SAP (Consulting and Development) teams — around 30 employees over three group lines — and strengthen the control and delivery capability of the department. You work closely with a wide range of internal and external experts: from department networks to implementation and managed service partners. IT, SAP and technology strategy: You shape the strategic development of the IT and SAP landscape as well as the technological orientation of the Gewobag — together with the area management and the management circle of the area. Change: You actively participate in the ongoing development of the area and are responsible for the methodological and structural development of IT, from the design of substructures to modern service processes to new work and operating models. Stable and secure operation: You secure the reliable operation of the cloud platform (Microsoft/Azure, M365), SAP system operation, network, terminals and IT support and anchor information security and data protection from the start — in close coordination with corporate governance. SAP platform: You are responsible for the operation and further development of the SAP S/4HANA landscape, drive process optimization, fiori development and user capability, and develop the strands of SAP consulting and SAP development as leadable substructures. Cloud and Architecture: You develop the cloud and platform architecture across both technology worlds — Microsoft Azure and SAP Cloud (BTP) —, advocates interoperable, connectable systems and controls the economy and security of the cloud landscape. Data and Analytics: You are responsible for the operation and further development of the data platform (SAP BW, Power BI, Data Catalogue) and the data governance as the basis for data-based control and AI. Artificial intelligence: You shape the AI strategy of the area together with the area management and the digitization and AI function, provide key competencies from your teams reliably for the range-wide AI squad and answer the technical and data-based foundations for the productive AI deployment. Service and request processes: You are responsible for the central input channel for requirements from the entire company (triage and pre-qualification), the comprehensive test case management as well as the asset and product register, and develop these service processes together with the neighboring units. Control of external partners and IT budgets: You are responsible for the IT budget as the largest budget component of the area, as well as the management of service providers, implementation partners and managed service providers including the licensing and contract strategy for Cloud and SAP.

Studies: You have a completed degree in (economic) informatics, an engineering/nature science discipline or a comparable qualification with the relevant career. Professional experience: You have multi-year leadership experience in IT with responsibility for operation and further development — ideally with leadership over a further management level or alternatively with proven responsibility for large IT projects or -Programs with a variety of internal and external participants. Funded SAP competence: You bring deep understanding of the SAP S/4HANA landscape (modules, development with ABAP/Fiori, SAP base; ideally SAP BW/Analytics) with you and are able to lead a sound SAP consulting and development and to help shape the SAP strategy. Embossed cloud competence: You have profound experience with Microsoft Azure and M365 (Operation, Architecture, Security, Economic Control) as well as a good understanding of SAP cloud technologies (SAP BTP) and the integration of both worlds; Container technologies (Kubernetes) are advantageous. IT Operations & Infrastructure: IT operations, infrastructure and IT support (ITSM) topics as well as information security (ISMS) are not strange to you. Project work: You bring passion & experience both in managing IT projects and product-oriented operating and working models (Product Ownership, Continuous Optimization, DevOps Principles) with – the ability to actively control capacities between project work and ongoing operation, completes your profile. Data & Analytics: You have a deep understanding of data management, analytics and consider data platforms as a strategic lever. Budget & Service Providers: You can easily manage external service providers and partners as well as the economic management of licenses, contracts and IT budgets. Further development & team leadership: You bring experience in the further development and restructuring of teams as well as in the introduction or modernization of working methods and operating models as well as the ability to lead into matrix structures and shared mandates. Skills: You have the strong ability to translate between technology and business, and convince by the strength of communication and change. Digitization & AI: You have an affinity for digitalization and artificial intelligence and joy in creating skills instead of dependence. Language skills: German language skills and good English skills complement your skills.
