Leadership: Strategic, multi-site leadership of the Functional Safety Management & Development, Promotion and Development of Team Leaders and Functional Safety Managers (m/w/d) at all relevant locations Functional Safety Management: Responsibility for the implementation of functional safety requirements of safety life cycles and standard specifications, as well as ensuring delivery excellence related to functional safety management through structured planning, resource & risk management and process optimization Strategy & Innovation: Development and implementation of a safety strategy for the department. Ensuring the safety-related support of innovative solutions and safety concepts for tomorrow's technologies and products (e.g. Software Defined Defence, new E/E architecture, E/E platform etc.) Partners & Stakeholders: fostering strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships; professional communication at all management levels to executive levels Organizational Development: Establishing efficient multi-site structures, promoting leadership excellence and continuous improvement of the department Skill Building: Building and further developing the competences of the multi-site teams to ensure future products and innovations

This location can be occupied at the locations Kassel, Kiel or Unterlüß.

Complete study of electrical engineering, (engineering) informatics, mechatronics, physics, vehicle technology or another MINT or comparable discipline Multiannual disciplinary leadership experience with demonstrable successes Experience in the field of functional safety as well as in the defence, automotive, aviation, railway industry or comparable Very good knowledge of IEC 61508 and ISO 26262 (planning and application) and common development processes and methods especially with regard to the integration of Functional Safety Safe appearance and strong leadership skills Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness to travel
