You are well aware of hazardous goods regulations and want to introduce your expertise in an international logistics environment? Then we become part of our team as a Dangerous Goods Officer (m/w/x) at the Gütersloh or Düren site - with a sense of responsibility, expertise and a view for safe and law-compliant transport processes worldwide. Are you on it?

• Ensuring legal requirements & process optimization: You are responsible for compliance with all relevant Dangerous Goods regulations (ADR, IMDG Code, IATA-DGR) and promotes the continuous development of internal standards and processes in Dangerous Goods Management

• Technical advice & reporting: As a central contact person, you will assist internal departments in matters relating to dangerous goods transport and security and will regularly prepare the legally required annual report

• Accident analysis & authority communication: In case of incidents, you take the analysis of the causes and coordinate cooperation with competent authorities and internal interfaces

• Internal audits & process review: You carry out internal risk audits, Dangerous Goods checks and carrier checks and thus contribute to ensuring compliance with hazardous goods regulations

• Training & Documentation: You develop training concepts on hazardous topics and perform these independently - sound knowledge in PowerPoint is essential for this. In addition, you will create and provide relevant documentation and keep risk-related information sources at the current level

• Education: A successfully completed study in the field of logistics, chemistry or a comparable qualification forms your basis

• Professional experience: You are bringing at least three years of professional experience in the field of hazardous goods, transport or logistics

• Qualifications: You have recognised qualifications as a Dangerous Goods Officer (ADR, IMDG, IATA)

• Language skills: For target-group-oriented communication with different stakeholders, you bring fluent knowledge of German and English, and you'd like to know another language (e.g. French)

• Working method: You work structured, solution-oriented and responsible, connect organizational talent and clear communication with IT affinity, team spirit and high self-initiative

• Ready to travel: With your willingness to national and international locations, you will complete your profile
