Your role in ZEISS Digital Innovation In your role in business development management, you have a significant impact on the future design of ZEISS Digital Innovation. Their responsibility is to ensure the continuous development and successful implementation of our software service portfolio. Our focus is in particular on discrete value creation in the semiconductor, electronics and automotive industries, but also in process manufacturing.

Their tasks include two fields of activity: Strategic portfolio development for individual software solutions Independent analysis and demand determination of the various industries in terms of software applications and market trends Self-employed development and testing of suitable go-to-market strategies Strategy development for the need-oriented approach to the acquisition of specific target customers (in close cooperation with our sales & marketing team) Accompanying the necessary competence building within ZEISS Digital Innovation (e.g. programming languages, software tools, specific expertise in manufacturing)

Operational activities Own-sponsored design and control of presales projects Early discussions and advice of our customers on their digitalization projects Creation of high-quality content (e.g. position papers, white paper, lectures)

Your profile You want to raise digital manufacturing solutions to a new level? Then our team is looking forward to you!

You also have the following profile: Embossed understanding as well as hands-on experience in digitalization projects in production as well as in the topics Industry 4.0 / IIoT, factory and process planning, special machine construction, supply chain management and quality management Funded theoretical and practical knowledge on digitalization strategies as well as economic considerations on digital applications / software solutions in production Comprehensive experience in business and strategy consulting is desirable A good network in industry is advantageous Very good, practical experience in lean management and value flow design as well as with the ISA-95 standard Practical experience in the design, planning and implementation of extensive software applications Excellent language skills (in word and writing) as well as communication/presentation skills in C1 or C2 levels in German and English
