Technical Employee Fire Brigade – Equipment and Vehicle Management (m/f/d)

RETTEN, LÖSCHEN, BERGEN, SCHÜTZ The volunteer fire brigade Korntal-Münchingen is divided into two operational departments with currently around 120 volunteers as well as a youth and an old age department. We are looking for a permanent part-time (60%).

as a central specialist for the equipment and vehicle industry with a focus on maintenance and organization to ensure the operational readiness of the fire department Korntal-Münchingen.

Responsibility for the organisation, control and safeguarding of the maintenance, maintenance and maintenance of fire-fighting vehicles and equipment, as well as technical equipment to ensure the performance of operational readiness Responsible planning, control and monitoring of all prescribed test and maintenance cycles including documentation Implementation of small repair work and coordination, procurement and technical supervision of external service providers Coordination and technical guidance of the volunteer material officers of the operational departments Construction, development and application of the computer-based device and test detection system and management of inventory data Participation in procurement, replacement planning and budget preparations in the field of fire defence technology Support of fire brigades in the event of need in the context of the tasks carried out A change or addition of the task area is reserved.

Completed training in a technical or craft occupation (e.g. motor mechanics, electrical engineering or comparable) Multiannual practical experience in the maintenance, maintenance or testing of technical equipment related to vehicles organisational strength and experience in coordinating and controlling processes; good knowledge of German in word and writing Knowledge of the handling of technical specifications and testing requirements Health suitability for fire-fighting activities Class CE licence and good computer skills, ideal experience with software Fire-fighting knowledge or voluntary commitment are desirable to provide appropriate qualifications.
