You assume the technical responsibility for a defined product line and ensure that products remain stable, economical and production-oriented during operation. Through the structured implementation of technical changes (ECRs), you contribute significantly to ensuring, comprehensible and sustainable product adaptations. Within the scope of PLM and NPD projects, you will introduce your constructive and analytical expertise to efficiently lead new products or variants to market maturity. With CAD designs, technical calculations as well as feasibility analyses, you create a resilient basis for development and production. You systematically analyze product problems, identify causes and develop technical solutions that contribute to product quality and customer satisfaction in the long term. The close interface work with development, production, purchasing, quality, product management and service ensures smooth flow of information and short decision-making. The creation and continuous maintenance of technical documentation ensures knowledge, increases transparency and supports efficient cooperation over the entire product life cycle.

A completed engineering degree in the field of mechanical engineering – as an alternative a recognized further education for the technician (m/w/d) with the focus on construction – forms the technical basis. Your professional experience of about 3-5 years in design, development or technical product support allows you to safely evaluate and implement technical changes. The secure handling of CAD systems such as SolidWorks and PLM systems such as Teamcenter enables you to maintain product data consistently and to control changes structuredly. Knowledge of ERP systems, ideally SAP, help you link technical decisions with economic and process requirements. Finding knowledge in manufacturing processes, material science and technical documentation enables you to look at products in a holistic manner.
