Strategic and operational responsibility for central IT infrastructure areas of the company STIHL, such as the global corporate network incl. Network services, Windows Server infrastructure including virtualization, standard and mobile clients as well as the associated infrastructure services (e.g. software distribution) and directory and identity management services incl. Process responsibility Technical and disciplinary leadership of three teams in Germany as well as technical management of IT RC managers in Brazil and Philippines Ensuring the operational security of the global IT infrastructure and strategic realignment and modernisation of services Active design of cloud transformation, i.e. migration of non-sAP systems into the cloud, building a seamless cloud connectivity, implementing a zero-trust vision, introducing infrastructure as code Budget responsibility for these services and the department

Complete studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual leadership experience in the IT infrastructure sector as well as strong leadership skills, also in the international context Deep knowledge of network architectures, server and client infrastructures as well as cloud technologies Experience in managing global IT projects and budgets Excellent communication skills, knowledge of English and international experience and intercultural competence Enthusiasm for a modern leadership style that inspires, promotes and develops people Entrepreneurial thinking and flexibility in a dynamic environment
