Group Health & Safety Lead (m/f/d)

Health & Safety Strategy You continuously develop the Group-wide Health & Safety Strategy in close coordination with the CEO. The establishment, promotion and sustainable development of a company-wide security culture at all locations is one of your tasks. You establish a uniform, modern Health & Safety management system for the entire group. As an impulse-giving person, you will encounter organisational, technical and cultural improvements in occupational and health protection. Site and group-wide control You take over the professional leadership of Health & Safety managers at the locations. Ensuring uniform Health & Safety standards throughout the group is your responsibility. You are regularly exchanged with relevant internal stakeholders at all locations. The preparation, moderation and support of internal Health & Safety audits and the support for external audits are your responsibility Health & Safety documentation You lead the introduction and management of a group-wide Health & Safety software. The training of the users as well as ensuring a high level of acceptance among executives and employees is one of your tasks. You establish a meaningful reporting and KPI system for top management. The development and maintenance of the central Health & Safety documentation and regular reporting to CEO and Management Board complete this task. Responsibilities as a specialist in occupational safety (according to ASiG, DGUV V1/V2) You advise employers, managers and employees on all issues of occupational safety and ergonomic workplace design. Ensuring the proper implementation of work protection and monitoring compliance with statutory requirements and internal standards is your responsibility. You take over all tasks from the order to the specialist for occupational safety. Responsibilities as fire protection officer You advise the responsible persons on all questions of preventive and organizational fire protection. The performance of tasks from the order to the fire protection officer of the group is one of your tasks. Prevention, Training & Competence You plan, organize and document Health & Safety teaching, training and awareness formats for the sustainable awareness of all employees. The support and qualification of safety officers, fire protection officers and initial helpers is your responsibility. In addition, you can organize the first-time workers as well as evacuation and emergency exercises.

You have a successfully completed engineering studies or a comparable qualification as well as a completed training as a specialist for occupational safety. Finding multiannual professional experience in the field of occupational safety – ideally in a manufacturing medium-sized industrial company of metal processing – distinguishes you. You bring very good knowledge of the currently valid guidelines in occupational and fire protection and have experience from internal commissions for occupational safety and fire protection. Continuous training according to ASiG and fire protection are of course for you. Their very good knowledge of machine safety and ergonomic workplace design complement your professional profile. A pronounced analysis and conception competence combined with an independent, structured and solution-oriented method of operation will be used safely in practice. Experience in project management as well as in the lateral management of project teams brings you with the personal drive to transfer complex and demanding questions into sustainable solutions and implement them in a sustainable manner. You convince by excellent communication skills, professional stakeholder management and a safe occurrence at all levels. In addition, you have a strong digital competence and are sure to handle current IT applications. Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English (at least C1 in word and writing), a readiness for travel of approx. 10 % as well as ideally a class B licence round off your profile.
