The Shared Production Unit (Carl Zeiss Jena GmbH) is the joint production unit and part of a global group of companies from ZEISS. We produce key components for our ZEISS divisions and are therefore the proficient and the hand of the pioneer. As a machine operator milling (m/w/x) you can independently produce constantly changing mechanical parts on CNC milling machines. This includes programming, setting up and operating the machine technology provided. Through your use, you can optimize the production of our high-performance products from ZEISS together with us and thus contribute your very personal part to our success story.

Your role You operate 5-axis milling centres and equip them according to existing set-up sheets and work plans

In handling control systems of the companies Heidenhain and Siemens, you are safe and can perform corrections until production release

The right tool selection and presetting are also your tasks

Together with work preparation and control, you can improve program processes and ensure the quality of the finished parts
