Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Karlsruhe In your role, you are responsible for the ongoing prosecution of customs and foreign legal standards in the EU. In addition, you will ensure a targeted implementation of legal changes within the Bosch Group to ensure compliance. As part of the team of EU Customs Experts, you work independently with the strategic development of the external trade of the Bosch Group in Germany and the EU as regards the use of customs procedures and free trade agreements, standardization of external trade processes. In addition, the determination and use of customs and external economic potentials to reduce costs and increase competitiveness is achieved. They advise within the Bosch Group on customs and external economic issues related to the design of business models and processes, Merger & Acquisitions and Post Merger Integration. You will also take over the management of and/or cooperation in cross-departmental projects to implement operational and regulatory requirements in foreign trade. They coordinate administrative contacts in connection with external audits, customs authorisations, customs measures. Lastly, you are contact persons for customs tariffs and provide opinions for associations, federal and EU authorities as part of consultations on customs and foreign trade law.

Education: completed university studies of law, business management, financial economist (customs department) or a comparable degree programme experience and know-how: several years of experience in customs consulting, customs administration or in the customs department of an internationally operating company; sound knowledge of customs and foreign trade law and international trade agreements; expertise in compliance and risk management; in the design and implementation of projects and processes within complex matrix structures Personality and working methods: as a team player: with intercultural competence, you are convinced by a quick understanding and a targeted way of working; They consistently implement your goals and cannot be easily removed; Your structured and self-determined work and your distinct problem-solving competence complete your profile Working day: we work in a flexible and mobile way, 2-3 days a week we are together on site Languages: very good German and English in word and writing; other foreign languages are advantageous *The gross annual salary for this body is, according to our regulations, at least EUR 86,000 for a 35h week (for a full year of employment and fulfilment of the tariff requirements).
