The Catholic University of Mainz is a state-recognized university for applied sciences in church institutions. For more than 50 years, experts have been trained in the fields of social, health and care and practical theology. You support our team at the Finance and Controlling Service in the organization and management of our financial system. The service station is just newly created and consists of several organizational units within the company. What you expect from us: You create calculations for budget planning and control and book documents, especially in the third-party funding projects of the university. You take care of the financial management of household and third-party funds. This includes the creation of proofs of use, annual accounts and reports as well as calls for funds. You create decision templates for our institute and project managements You monitor deadlines and have a look at the legal and formal funding conditions of our third-party funding providers at the project management. In the team with colleagues, you will accompany the financial management and accounting of the university. You take over general administrative tasks (invoicing of missions, procurement of funds, organisation of events, etc.).

What we expect from you: You bring a commercial training with the focus on accounting and enjoy accounting and controlling. You have experience in third-party funding management and are familiar with higher education. Enrich new structures and work in the team. You can quickly think into new structures and you can easily communicate securely and legally on all hierarchical levels. You are characterized by a structured and service-oriented manner. Finded user knowledge in Excel, MS teams and Outlook should bring them.
