Datacenter Administrator (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

Your responsibilities

• Tasks in the area of a multi-site and highly available data center infrastructure
• Administration and further development of our VMware vSphere and Horizon environment incl. connected mirrored SAN
• You are responsible for managing our file storage system
• Your task also includes the administration of the central backup environment
• Automation e.g. in the field of VM or backup environment completes your task area

Your qualifications:

Your profile

• Successfully completed computer science studies or comparable training as well as an analytical and conscientious procedure
• sound knowledge in the administration of VMware vSphere and Horizon View
• Experience with storage systems and complex IT infrastructures
• Knowledge of creating various scripts (e.g. Shell, Bash, Python, PowerShell) are advantageous
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• readiness for occasional travel within our locations and for this category B licence
