Systems Engineer – Inhouse IT (m/f/d)

Run & Optimize Linux Systems: You install, configure and manage our Linux server landscape (e.g. Rocky/RHEL) and secure a performant, stable IT operation Strengthen Security: You develop hardening and security standards, recognize risks early and increase the resilience of our central systems Monitoring & operation: With our tools you analyze system states, take measures and ensure smooth operation Design infrastructure: You actively contribute to architecture and infrastructure projects and advance improvements Working internationally: You work safely with English-language documentation and in an international environment Work in the team: You work in a decentralized IT team with about 10 colleagues and profit from a close, collegial cooperation with short voting channels

Multiannual practical experience in the Linux environment, ideally in operating IT operation or a comparable system engineering role, forms your technical basis IT-Security is a key component of stable systems for you and you bring a good understanding of safe architectures with Monitoring, server administration and structured incident handling are part of your working day Knowledge in network structures or virtualization is a plus, but no need A structured, responsible way of working, a high level of quality and a secure English knowledge complete your profile
