The clearing and crisis intervention station offers the possibility of accurate diagnostic evaluation, clarification and a stationary crisis intervention of up to 10 days. Patients who are either mentally ill for the first time or have an unclear symptom are considered in particular for admission to the clearing station. Electroconvulsion therapy (EKT) is a medical treatment method used mainly for the treatment of severe, delusional depressions and in drug-resistant schizophrenia.
