Together with your colleagues, you take over the day-to-day operations for the topics: export control, import, customs and preferential determination You will ensure compliance with national and international export control laws. Approval requirements are checked by you. You submit BAFA applications and coordinate all necessary documents with the relevant specialist departments in a revision-proof manner In compliance with the legal or regulatory requirements, you carry out the import processing. In addition to the conclusion of T1 procedures and the transfer of goods to free circulation, ensure the settlement of customs duties of goods Preferential calculations are your tasks as well as the organization of the supplier declarations necessary for this purpose You are constantly monitoring national and international legal developments. Customize existing processes or develop appropriate instructions for action and legally safe new processes Import customs and external economic checks are supervised by you External reports such as Intrastat and CBAM provide you with a timely schedule You check and update the tariff numbers in cooperation with the departments The organisation of employee training as well as technical support of other areas completes your work environment

You have successfully completed your studies or training, e.g. to the industrial businessman, freight forwarder or wholesaler and foreign trader with a further education as a specialist (m/w/d) Knowledge of the relevant regulations and multiannual professional experience in the operational handling of customs, preferential and export control laws are desirable Experiences with SAP / AEB are advantageous You can independently assess relevant facts and convince by a reliable and accurate operation You can identify, structure and translate new legal requirements into an adequate process In the German and English language you are stylistic in word and writing
