Participation in building a central competence hub for analytical, data-based optimization of operational planning and scheduling Analysis of existing system landscapes and business requirements as well as evaluation of internal and external standard solutions (off-the-shelf) with regard to scalability, integration and architecture in areas of task planning, resource management or route planning Identification of synergies between the different TÜV SÜD divisions Designing strategic target images, operational frameworks and technical guidelines for modern planning and optimization solutions Close cooperation in agile, interdisciplinary teams with the disciplines, IT teams, data scientists and developers as well as the establishment of a cross-departmental network Support for the definition and strategic development of the product portfolio and the selection of suitable tools and technologies Accompanying end-to-end implementation projects of new solutions (individualization of external solutions and development/scaling of own solutions) - from technical and technical design to integration to roll-out

Successfully completed studies with a quantitative focus (e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, economics, engineering or comparable qualification) At least five years of professional experience in the field of planning, optimization or analytical solution design, ideally focusing on scheduling, personnel deployment planning or optimization of planning processes Experience in the analysis of complex system landscapes and the development of strategic target images Good knowledge of standard market solutions (off-the-shelf) in the field of planning and disposition desirable Experience in the management of (partial) projects for the introduction of data-driven solutions, ideally in the international environment or consulting context Confidence with data integration and modern technologies in the field of analytical solutions Experience with agile project methods as well as a structured, solution-oriented and self-responsive operation Communication strength in German and English as well as pleasure in working with interdisciplinary and globally distributed teams Enthusiasm to advance the use of Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in the TÜV SÜD

Our goal is to support the organization with data-based solutions in more efficient scheduling and disposition – e.g. in personnel deployment planning, route planning and forecasting. We evaluate existing processes and approaches, integrate external solutions and develop our own scalable, sustainable solutions. With your expertise, you help us build this new team and strategically co-design the hub – as a bridge between disciplines and tech teams.
