As a system architect OT (m/w/d) in the field of technology management measuring point operation, you are shaping the technological future of our measuring point infrastructure. You combine regulatory requirements, technological developments and modern architectural principles into a powerful, secure and efficient system landscape. In doing so, you take responsibility for strategic developments, run a small team and control complex projects in the context of modern project management. The employees of the Messstelle plant ensure the installation, operation and expansion of the electricity, gas and water meters as well as all associated attachments and data transmission devices in all SWM network areas. You design and develop the system and network architectures of the measuring station operation and combine technological trends with regulatory requirements with respect to internal requirements You advance the technological development of the measuring point infrastructure, from modern meter technology to SMGW communication to IoT, edge and cloud concepts Ensuring compliance with technical standards, data protection and IT security requirements are of course for you You develop digital solutions and automated processes that make measuring point operation more efficient, more transparent and sustainable You take responsibility for projects from the idea to the implementation and ensure a structured transfer to the company. Multiproject management is not a foreign word for you You coordinate cooperation with departments, IT, external partners, manufacturers, associations and authorities and work actively in internal and external working groups.

Complete study of electrical engineering, in the field of energy, computer science or a comparable qualification with several years of relevant professional experience Multiannual experience in the technical field, ideally in the energy supply, in intelligent measurement or in the OT system or Architecture development Deep understanding of complex system architectures and extensive knowledge of relevant regulatory, security and data protection requirements Experience in managing projects and a structured, analytical and predictive way of working Ability to prepare and develop sustainable solutions together with different stakeholders Joy in taking responsibility, keeping an overview, promoting themes and combining technological innovations with economic sustainability
