You take over the management of the software licenses used in the company. This includes the management, testing and optimization of the licenses as well as predictive planning and need analysis. You agree closely with employees from all company-internal specialist departments and advise them – also proactively. In addition, you conduct price and contract negotiations within the framework of software procurement and, if necessary, make adjustments to the licensing types during the contract lifecycle. They are responsible for the management of extensive license, installation and usage data that are crucial for the purchase of software, consolidation and licensing. Ensuring license compliance in the internal and external relationship is one of your tasks as well as supporting license audits by the providers. With your work, you will ensure a central and secure retention of licenses as well as the clear definition of licensing rules. Together with technical license management, you will ensure smooth IT operation.

They have a successfully completed degree in the field of Business Administration, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification. You will also bring professional experience in IT license management and IT contract management. You are distinguished by knowledge of IT procurement and governance processes. Practical experience in the licensing audit process is also part of your repertoire. They appreciate the cooperation in cross-functional teams and consider them key to success in the project work. With your sovereign discussion and strong negotiation skills, you can convince in every situation. With German knowledge on at least C1 level, you communicate safely and professionally in a German-speaking working environment.
