The field of activity includes the full spectrum of neurosurgery with the care of stationary and outpatient patients. The focal points of the clinic(www.neurosurgery-marburg.de) are the therapy of intracranial and spinal tumors, the skull base and hypophysis surgery, vascular neurosurgery, functional interventions such as deep brain stimulation and epilepsy surgery, neurotraumatology and, in particular, the treatment of complex degenerative, tumorous and traumatic spinal diseases. In the clinic, innovative medical technology methods such as augmented reality, robotics, intraoperative CT and ultrasound imaging are developed and used in patient care. We offer comprehensive structured clinical, operational and scientific training. The place is suitable both for applicants who seek medical training in neurosurgery, as well as for those interested in the clinical neighboring disciplines of neurology and neuroradiology.
