Legal assistant - debt collection / enforcement proceedings (m/f/d)

We were founded by a German and a British company in London in 2012 to support self-employed and small businesses with loans that are tailored to their business model. Since then we have already paid over € 1 billion of loans.

Since 2015 we have also been on the market in Germany, where we have quickly grown into one of the largest fintech providers of loans in our segment. In the meantime, we are almost 300 employees. Our Germany team is distributed to our locations in London and Frankfurt, where we are currently particularly expanding our Frankfurt office.

We are just at the beginning of our mission - and are therefore looking for smart and strong members for our team. You develop and implement an individual recovery strategy for each customer account, from pre-judicial phase to successful recovery You are actively negotiating with customers: insolvency plans, comparisons and payment methods, both in writing (letter, e-mail) and on the phone You conduct the entire written and telephone correspondence with customers: inside, courts, lawyers: inside You submit applications for executing and executing documents, as well as other judicial applications, and submit them to You independently process the enforcement and tax as well as accompany our external law firms and other service providers You support in insolvency proceedings (response, monitoring) and revise and update our systems while working on the further development of templates and processes

You have a completed training as a lawyer:r, lawyer and notary:r, business lawyer:in or a comparable qualification You bring at least 3-5 years of practical experience in receivable management, judicial dunning and forced execution with You have strong negotiating and communication skills in dealing with debtors: inside and very good knowledge of German civil process law (ZPO) as well as the procedures in judicial dunning and enforcement proceedings You are happy to work independently and at the same time work closely with colleagues and external partners: You will be sure to step up and be strong in German (C1); English (B2) is used for internal documentation and meetings and is open to new processes and systems, with willingness to participate and further develop
