Become part of our AI team in the brand new "Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence" at our office in Heilbronn (ipai campus). Together with leading partners from industry and science, you will explore and develop electronic CMOS digital circuits for AI applications and AI-based circuit design. AI from Fraunhofer and directly from Baden-Württemberg, for Europe and for the future! Worldwide, high pressure is being used to improve the use of artificial intelligence. Both the basic hardware components are continuously optimized and the methods for their development are refined. The design flow of these circuits and (sub) systems, which is considered a key to the realization of ground-breaking applications, is particularly important. We need your help.

What you do with us

• Scientific responsibility: They lead the development of modern CMOS circuit design methods that are geared to the current project requirements in Heilbronn.
• Team management: You design, plan and control the workflows in your team and are a contact person for all questions about project acquisition and processing.
• Communication professional: You will inform your team about important department issues, will be regularly exchanged with the department management and will actively participate in meetings.
• Mentor*in: You promote the professional qualification of your employees and help in the selection and development of new talents.
• Project management: You acquire and run exciting research projects or subprojects in close cooperation with other groups and departments of the institute.

What you bring

• Academic background: You have completed your studies (Diplom/Master) in electrical engineering, computer science, microsystems engineering, communications technology or a comparable field of expertise. - ideally supplemented by a doctorate.
• Practical experience: They bring well-founded knowledge in the project acquisition and management and are versed in and enthusiastic about CMOS digital technology and AI.
• Technological competence: The handling of circuit simulation software such as Cadence Virtuoso or Keysight ADS is self-evident and fun for you.
• Team spirit and communication strength: You like to work in the team and have strong communication and organizational skills that allow you to interact effectively with colleagues.
• Responsibility and internationality: Your independent, targeted work will be complemented by knowledge of English that is safe from negotiation, which will benefit you in an international working environment.
