What can't be missing from a smartphone? Exactly, the microchip – the heart of any electronically controlled system. About 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies. ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and solutions for process control, ZEISS enables the production of increasingly smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips – and thus decisively shapes the age of microelectronics and nanoelectronics with its innovations. For the production of high-performance semiconductor chips using photolithography, we develop the world's most modern projection and illumination systems. Due to the use of extreme ultraviolet light (EUV), high demands are placed on the vacuum tightness of the systems. In the Assembly Metrology development group, you design and develop measurement strategies and processes together with your team and other specialist departments to support the assembly of complex assemblies. You have the opportunity to quickly take responsibility along the entire development process. You are also in close contact with the adjacent departments and work on your tasks in Matrix-organized project teams.

Developing tactile and optical measurement methods for complex assemblies and components

Development of automation solutions for existing and new measurement processes
