The focus of the activity is the treatment of people with mental illnesses and disruption of the development of intelligence, as well as neurological and internalistic accompanying diseases within a specialized stationary setting.

In particular, a personality with neurological and psychiatric competence as well as an interest in the further development of integrative treatment concepts at the interface of psychiatry, neurology and participation is sought.

The position will be reoccupied in the course of an internal development, since the previous staff member shifts part of her activity to the established area.

For people with people – according to our guidance, patients are always at the heart of our clinic. We are entitled to optimally treat patients with disorders of different causes, with physical and mental limitations, neurological and internalist comorbidities and mentally ill people from the residential areas of the Landesverein.

Our clinic consists of an open gerontopsychiatric therapy station, a closed gerontopsychiatric station as well as a station with a focus on the treatment of physically and mentally restricted and internally or neurologically seriously ill patients, as well as two closed, gender-specific acute stations. Our clinic is affiliated to the Psychiatric Hospital's Diagnostic Centre and the Internal Institute Hospital for the Treatment of Mentally Diseased People who live in the field of psychiatric care, rehabilitation and housing and support in our National Association. We are a team of specialists in the treatment of people who benefit from specialist knowledge of different professional groups and with a lot of space for co-design for professional, respectful and patient-oriented handling.

Your job:

• (Fach-)oberarztleitung und Organisation eines Spezialen Stationenbereich
• Psychiatric and neurological diagnostics and therapy planning
• Close cooperation with psychology, care, social services, ergo- and movement therapy, as well as other special therapies
• Supervision and professional guidance of medical/psychological colleagues
• Participation in continuing and continuing training
• Participation in the conceptual development of modern neuropsychiatric treatment approaches
• Participation including participation in the training curriculum for our trainees
• Possibility to participate in stimulation methods, in particular electroconvulsion therapy (EKT)

• Specialist in neurology with interest in psychiatric questions and the desire to complete the further education of psychiatry and psychotherapy professionally
• Specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy with profound neurological experience
• Double qualification as a specialist in neurology, psychiatry and psychotherapy
