Senior IT Administrator with remote work component (m/f/d)

Our client is a successful company in the industrial environment with several locations in Germany and abroad. The company has been established on the market for many years by diversity, development and growth. IT plays a central role in the company's stable production and business processes. In order to strengthen our client's IT team, we are looking for an experienced IT administrator (m/w/d) who, in addition to operating the IT infrastructure in a collegial team, also takes over 2nd level support. Operation, administration and further development of our IT infrastructure (servers, networks, clients) 2nd level support for our users at multiple locations (mainly remote) Analysis, limitation and sustainable improvement of complex IT issues Administration of Windows Server environments (e.g. Active Directory, Group policies, Fileserver) Support of virtualization and backup systems Cooperation with external service providers and manufacturers Working with IT projects (e.g. infrastructure extensions, location connections, security measures) Creation and maintenance of IT documentation and standards Ensuring IT security and data protection requirements

Complete training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience as an IT administrator, ideally in the industrial or production environment Knowledge of common client and server operating systems Experience with cloud-based applications and their administration Good knowledge in the administration and optimization of databases Good English knowledge of word and writing Self-working, team skills and problem-solving competence
